Who is DuBuy?

DuBuy is a newly launched company, that provides their members with awesome experiences in the Adventure and Transformation industries and at affordable prices

How did DuBuy come about?

I saw a gap in the market and knew due to the popularity of these 2 areas that it was worth pursuing. I wanted to bring companies together with the South African public. I want to have a vehicle that would make it easy for the adventure/transformation companies to connect with the public and vesa/versa. The DuBuy portal serves this purpose.

DuBuy works with top quality merchants to bring you exciting adventures and transformational activities at affordable prices. We serve as the link between our members and our business partners. We help our members discover amazing experiences all in one place.

How do you find your business partners?

We have high standards and specific criteria that our business partners must meet to work with us. We make use of the internet, facebook, twitter, trade magazines, trade shows, tourist boards and member recommendations and feedback in finding and validating our business partners.

I run an adventure based or personal transformational company, how can we work together?

How much does it cost to work with you?

There are zero upfront costs. We work on a fee structure whereby DuBuy earns a commission on of each promotion that is sold on the DuBuy Portal.

Can I book an experience by phone?

Sorry no, all our experiences are booked via our website

What is the youngest age a person can experience the adventures listed?

Age restrictions are listed in the Fine Print, which is located at the bottom of the promotion page, as well as on the voucher. If you need further clarification for the specific experience, you can call the merchant directly to inquire.

Can I bring my children on a getaway that I’ve purchased or will it cost extra?

Unless listed in the offer, this question is best answered by the merchant.

How do I redeem my voucher?

Full instructions on how to redeem your voucher will be listed on the voucher that you print out.

What happens if the experience is cancelled?

Hopefully this never happens, but if it does we will refund you in full.

What is the refund policy for the events?

All purchases are final unless there is a problem on our end.

How do I purchase a DuBuy Promotion?

Just click on “BUY NOW” before the promotion ends.

How do I print off my voucher?

To print a copy of your voucher, sign into your account. You will find a tab on the top navigation bar called “My Account”. Click on “Active Vouchers” and click on the download button. Your voucher will be ready for printing. The deal will have all the information you need printed on it. Remember to present the voucher to the merchant.

When do I need to use my voucher by?

Please use your voucher within the expiration period. You will find this on your voucher under the Fine Print section.

What if my voucher expired?

The voucher will expire on the date printed on the voucher. There is no refund once the voucher has expired, so make sure you redeem your voucher before the expiry date.

What if the business closes down before I am able to redeem my voucher?

If the business closes down, we’ll make sure you get your money back if it is within 90 days from purchase. After 90 days from the voucher purchase date, we can provide you with a credit on your DuBuy account. Sorry, but we are unable to provide cash refunds after 90 days from the promotion purchase date. You can contact support@dubuy.co.za to assist you with the refund.

Can I purchase a promotion as a gift?

Yes you absolutely can. Click on the Buy Now button and proceed to the checkout cart. You will find the Gift Box Option on the billing page. Complete all the relevant information and proceed to payout. Once the promotion has been paid, the recipient of the gift will receive an email with the voucher.  Also refer to gift vouchers section. http://www.dubuy.co.za/gift-vouchers

How does the Share and Earn work?

To earn credits for use on the DuBuy Portal, simply copy and paste the link, which you will find on the promotion page, to your Facebook timeline, Twitter profile, or send the link to a friend via email. When they click on the link and BUY, YOU EARN CREDITS!

What about safety and privacy? How secure is your site?

We do not share any of our member’s information. We use Payfast which has a secure banking facility and we do not store your banking information on our servers.
